Technology is playing an increasing role in teaching and learning in all areas of education and society. Kiama High School is targeting a range of strategic initiatives to improve students’ digital literacy and citizenship and to ensure technology is being used effectively to support students’ learning needs and outcomes.
Kiama High School is a bring your own device school (BYOD). BYOD refers to the policy for permitting students to bring their own devices to school, and to use those devices to access the DEC wireless network and other school resources. All students are expected to bring their own computing device to school every day.
