Students are expected to wear the complete and proper school uniform daily, including the correct clothing for sport and physical education lessons. Single day exemptions for incorrect uniform may be obtained from the administration office on production of a note explaining the reason. Cooperation with uniform is recorded on school reports each semester.
Solid leather shoes or joggers are part of work health and safety legislation; safe footwear is part of our duty of care to ensure students avoid injury. Canvas or open shoes, sandals or thongs are not acceptable at any time. In addition to the above, Kiama High School’s P&C have endorsed that shoes be all black with no coloured logos, stripes or mid-sole with black laces. Socks should be short, all black, with no coloured stripes or logos.
